Great Serpent Mound
Ohio, Adams County ,the park is on State Route 73~ six miles north of
State Route 32~ 20 miles south of Bainbridge,Ohio.
Difficulty: moderate,trail walking

The most famous of all such (effigy) mounds is The Great Serpent Mound
in Adams County Ohio.
1,330 feet in length along its coils and averaging 3 feet in height.
Also the park has a great vantage point for photographers from the tower
overlooking the great Serpent.
The Ohio Historical Society will be collecting a vehicle parking fee
that varies according to your particular vehicle.
